The Account Manager is the owner and primary account contact responsible for ensuring a successful, long term, profitable relationship with large brand clients.

The Role:

  • Drive and lead the successful launch of each proposition for the nominated accounts
  • Work closely with the internal teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Help prepare KPI's and ensure that expectations which have been set are achieved on a monthly basis
  • Manage the day to day relationships with the accounts and any third parties to successfully achieve the KPI's.
  • Ensure that all parts of the account are aware of the mobile CRM program by running training sessions to appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide weekly results to help key stakeholders in the account understand the performance of the program
  • Promote and evangelise the propositions to other parts of the account to develop advocacy, create ambassadors and uncover opportunities to grow the scope of the services
  • Identify key personnel /departments that can help develop and grow the relationship e.g. sales, marketing, distribution etc
  • Work on the evolution of the program to ensure longevity of relationship and widen the account and relationship
  • Market analysis to help us understand the competition and future developments in the mobile channel
  • Once a month present the findings and program performance
  • Identify potential leads in the account and upsell
  • Support Pre-sales and sales team on proposals
  • Support sales during meetings as the expert in the mCRM space
  • Manage customer roadmap (when as part of the initial contract)
  • Be the internal customer to product team, promoting customer needs

Experience required:

  • Confident and clear presentation skills
  • Mobile service provider, media owner or digital media agency background
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts to non-technical customers
  • Create comprehensive business models
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop the relationship at all levels e.g. Group head to marketing executive level
  • Excellent account management experience
