Our client is a globally recognised consumer media business with celebrity, news, and advertising products.
Purpose of Role
This will be a significant role, which will help drive the commercial growth and strategy for the Group. The successful candidate must be comfortable in new business development, negotiation, business affairs and development deal environments. You will drive new commercial partnership relationships, negotiate key and strategic partnerships with 3rd parties, commercial partnerships, content acquisition where appropriate, product and technology deals for the UK and international business units. You must also:

Key Role Accountabilities
Establish 3rd Party Alliances
- New commercial partnerships for the growth of the media business in the UK and Internationally, negotiate key and strategic partnerships with 3rd parties, commercial partnerships, content acquisition where appropriate, product and technology deals for the UK and international business units.
- Identify structure and develop significant 3rd party alliances and relationships.
Deal Making & Commercial Development
- Deals will primarily focus on the following UK and International areas, through new business development:

Traffic acquisition through content and site distribution

Commercial partnerships, delivering revenue of significant value;

Content acquisition;

Premium services partnerships

New Geographies (support dedicated group);
- Help to identify major business initiatives and strategies and facilitate any related deal discussions (including project work if required).
- Support the strategic partnerships management team in monitoring significant partnerships to working on maximising performance.
- Collaborate with partners to optimize existing deal execution, including extensions to existing agreements.
Requirements
- Experience in new business development, prospect targeting, sales process through to and including deal closure.
- Strong interpersonal skills - positive attitude; needs to be a team player - diplomatic.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, time management, prioritisation and presentation skills.
- Strong external and internal communication skills
- Must be a resourceful and proactive multi-tasker with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
