Aim of this Position
Design of wireless charging system (IPT -Inductive Power Transfer) for hybrid and electric vehicle
Specific Tasks
- Design of wireless charging system and assemblies
- Development of Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R)
- Development of Bill of Materials (BOM) for all prototype
- Development of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis)
- Development and maintaining of Engineering (design and testing) documentation per automotive standards
- Cooperation with external partners/suppliers in order to build system components
- Integration of electric systems/electronics into an electric and/or hybrid vehicle
- Finite element analysis: structural static and dynamic analysis, thermal analysis
Education
A BS degree in an engineering discipline or comparable technical degree
Professional Experience
3+ years' experience in an automotive environment as a design engineer
Technical Competences, Qualifications
- Ability to work within a global team environment
- OEM experience or Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 experience
- Project management competencies
- Proficiency in use of Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA
- Ability to convert customer requirements into designs for products
- Ability to interpret automotive drawing
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing(GD&T)
- Ability to interpret automotive drawings
- Experience of component or system delivery
- Experience with vehicle electric wiring - Low and High voltage
- English, German
