Description:

As a Mobile Web Developer you will drive projects from specification through to delivery and onwards. You will work with a highly experienced team of developers both teaching and learning in an innovative and fast-paced Agile environment. You will be responsible for various high profile projects using cutting-edge open-source technologies, building high-performance systems. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to analyse specifications, design implementations and write code and test cases.

You will be responsible for design, development, debugging, monitoring and maintenance of the mobile web site and web app.

Candidate Requirements

We are really looking for exceptional developers with advanced/expert level skills in HTML5 and CSS3 and a strong background in mobile web development.  Specific requirements include:

• Experience of consumer facing, mass market, networked, high-volume/performance applications
• An impressive portfolio of live mobile websites and web apps
• Extensive experience of mobile web development
• Advanced HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX on mobile devices
• Detailed knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of mobile browser implementations
• Experience with Javascript tools e.g. debuggers
• Knowledge of industry standard frameworks
• Enthusiastic about Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of other programming languages an advantage: Java, PHP
