Our client is a world leading organisation creating cutting edge technology and transforming the way people interact with and discover the world around them. They are now looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join their talented and growing team in Germany.

Description:

As an experienced web developer you will create the user experience for the company’s next generation web applications. In this role you will collaborate closely with software development organisations across the R&D division, product managers and senior leadership and contribute to multiple market leading web projects. 

Candidate Requirements:

You are a highly creative and innovative self-starter with a strong background in developing web frontends based on the latest technologies. Extensive experience of developing scalable web sites and communicating with web services is preferred. Specific requirements include:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant subject (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering etc)
• Strong hands-on experience (circa 6+ years) developing user interfaces for web devices for consumer services and applications
• Expert level skills: HTML / CSS, Javascript, XML, AJAX
• Knowledge of how to integrate REST  based web services
• Knowledge of Java and MVC frameworks such as Spring or Struts is a plus
• Experience working with engineers to implement designs and work around software / hardware limitations
• Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
• Experience working in a rapid application development environment using appropriate tools and techniques

Special conditions:

This role will be based in Germany therefore you must be prepared to relocate to Germany if you are not already based locally. A relocation package and relocation assistance will be made available to the successful candidate should this be required
