Job description

The Account Manager will lead the management of ten to fifteen major clients. Primarily responsibility is to drive clients’ mobile strategy and manage client mobile campaign activity.

The position requires an experienced marketing professional, ideally with strong mobile experience and knowledge of the advertising and marketing industry. The right candidate must be enthusiastic, proactive, detail-orientated and a hard working professional with a mature attitude able to work well in a team-orientated, client-focused environment.

Applicants should possess project management and multitasking abilities. They should be a team player with an enterprising attitude. They should have the ability to instil high morale, function equally well independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Primary responsibilities

  • Drive clients’ mobile marketing strategy to generate maximum ROI
  • Develop client relations through regular face to face meetings and contact
  • Oversee MobileNet site builds, and mobile campaign set-ups
  • Deliver analysis data and report key findings & recommendations to clients
  • Lead implementation for best practice recommendations for clients
  • Continually gain more mobile marketing knowledge and share new strategies with clients
  • Work with clients to identify problems and implement mobile solutions to address them

Skills and qualifications

  • Required
  • Minimum three years account management experience in the marketing industry
  • Ability to function within a commercial organisation and achieve agreed targets
  • Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions and recommendations
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Keen attention to detail and consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to internally communicate detailed requirements in an accessible way

  • Computer literacy, including proficient with web based software and common desktop applications
