Purpose of Job:

 

As part of the Senior Management Team /Operating Board to lead a dynamic sales team focusing on achieving sales targets within our new media and enterprise client portfolio to increase revenue and market share in accordance with company strategy.

 

Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):

  • Drive Sales
  • Driving revenues through own and sales teams targets
  • Able to identify and exploit further growth areas
  • Setting and agreeing sales targets within team
  • High level client involvement to negotiate and close details
  • Sales Strategies
  • Plan, develop and effective implementation of strategies and sales plans across diverse target markets
  • Develop customer retention strategies
  • Team Management and Development
  • Monitoring team performance and high motivation to reach targets
  • Mentor and coach to achieve targets and increase performance
  • Create and cascade a culture of over achievement
  • Marketing: Analysis of customer and routes to market
  • Senior Management Reporting
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Ensure all staff receive quarterly performance reviews
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
  • Senior Business Leader calibre
  • Degree level, ideally MBA
  • Thoroughbred sales and negotiation background, experienced at closing high level  contracts
  • Demonstrable sales management background with a track record of reaching sales targets through team
  • Excellent team leader with proven leadership by example abilities
  • Excellent communicator at all levels 
  • Indepth knowledge and coaching ability of sales and account management processes
  • Proven experience of reaching and exceeding profitability targets and maximising profit margins
  • Strong networking abilities
