Our client is a leader and innovator in the creation and delivery of mobile entertainment. We require a passionate candidate that can energetically assume ownership of the marketing activities for the organization, evangelize the client's offering and champion consumer marketing initiatives across the US.

Responsibilities:

  • To successfully roll out new set of products around smart phones applications and sites and develop a marketing strategy to engage users with it. 
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the marketing function with the goal of increasing market share, customer acquisition and conversion to subscription-based premium services.
  • Responsible for marketing all direct to consumer products, applications, toolbars and B2B portals.
  • Create additional demand for the company's premium services whilst upholding the broader interests of the industry and mobile community.
  • Drive targeted marketing programs and offers, assess on-line marketing effectiveness
  • Review and enhance marketing processes, measurements, information systems, etc. that are needed to enable the overall marketing function to operate efficiently and effectively in pursuit of its objectives.
  • Create and implement strategies to develop stickiness between consumers and the brand.
  • Focus on the need to enhance consumer usability, understand the needs of the consumer and transfer knowledge about the product effectively, with the ultimate goal of creating consumer loyalty to the brand.

  • Reporting to the COO

Experience:

  • A proven ability to translate consumer insights into a product development strategy, combined with demonstrated experience managing that strategy through execution. This includes an innate understanding of site usability as it relates to building a great consumer experience.
  • Expertise in promoting products and services to a large, existing free membership base and converting this customer group to a subscription model of premium products and services.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence and keen strategic thinking as well as knowledge of where convergence can be leveraged upon in the consumer and technology sectors.
  • A creative thinker and problem-solver with demonstrated experience in brand management, direct e-commerce, promotions, product development, merchandising and specialized marketing strategy.
  • The ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing consumer-driven environment; an entrepreneurial passion for the business.
  • An understanding of and commitment to delivering to the expectations and requirements of the current and prospective subscriber base.
