Description:
The two main tasks are lead generation and sales administration (roughly 35%). Working closeley with the Sales Director you will be responsible for an area in Europe, prospecting and generating leads, and arranging sales meetings. Also, since a large part of the product is intellectual property, there are legal and contractual issues to negotiate/manage between my client and their clients. This will take approximately 30-35% of your time, the reduced sales cycle will be very important to my client.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prospecting and Qualification (65-70% of time)
- Qualify all incoming leads for Sales Directors and update status in Salesforce;
- Target all War Room leads that Sales Directors are not working and update status in Salesforce;
- Market research in giving territory to uncover potential new accounts/opportunities;
- Set up F2F meetings with customers for Sales Directors;
- Track leads sent to Sales Directors;
- Ensure account information in Salesforce is accurate and up-to-date for given territory;
- Assist with Salesforce (input contacts/leads/opportunities/accounts; update opportunities);
- Follow-up on all tradeshow/webinar/etc. leads;
- Lead generation for new products and work with marketing on targeted marketing campaigns;
Sales Administration (30-35% of time)
- Assist with quote preparation;
- Track all quotes in a given territory;
- Work with sales ops (in USA) on any PO issues;
- Prepare and coordinate signature of Non-Disclosure Agreements;
- Assist with preparation on SLA, POA, and misc. legal documentation;
- Work with finance on collection issues;
- Coordinate evaluation requests with PLM, Sales Ops and CPM;
- Recover evaluation equipment once evaluation period has lapsed;
- Process channel partner registrations in territory and verify lead source in Salesforce so Turul can determine commission terms;
- Support channel partners requests for information and support;
- Track all channel partner deals and ensure channel partner receives credit when PO comes in; and
- Work with Channel Partners in territory to generate leads and determine what accounts need attention.
- Maintain and build customer reference list for given territory.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3+ years of Inside Technical Sales (High Tech Industry)
- The desired education is a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
- Current Business to Business sales background.
- Experience with CRM Sales Database system Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Possess a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Possess a strong sense of self-confidence without losing focus or dedication to the primary job responsibilities.
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven Record of success in a goal-oriented sales environment.
- Dynamic presentation and telephone speaking skills, as well as excellent relationship building, interpersonal and listening skills will be required.
