A leading provider of mobile messaging and content solutions for operators and device manufacturers.

Description  The company requires a Technical Account Manager / Pre-Sales Manager to support the Regional Sales Director in key account management and new business development activity on behalf of the company.  As part of a relatively small team you will have the opportunity to play a significant part within a growing part of a larger organisation. The position will give you exposure to wide audience from technical team leaders to Board level executives.  Whilst this is a technical role the right candidate will be expected to be able to handle some of the day to day account management activities of key accounts where required. Duties and responsibilities:
  • Building and managing technical and business relationships during sales cycles.
  • Development of a deep understanding of a customer’s business requirements.
  • Ensuring that there is a seamless transition of closed sales into the implementation teams.
  • Business case creation.
  • Significant input into RFI and RFQ responses.
  • Providing feedback to product management and development concerning market receptiveness to the key offerings and any information regarding competitive market changes
 Candidate Requirements:
  • You need to come from a mobile application and/or mobile devices background ideally.  In this instance the focus is on mobile billing and messaging solutions in particular.
  • Considerable experience of demonstrating and presenting business solutions to customers and prospects from a technical perspective.
  • Strong consultative, communication, presentation and facilitation sales skills.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and process and solution oriented abilities
  • Business level fluency in English with any additional European language being a plus.
Special conditions: There will be regular travel with the role across Europe and North America (US likely to be every 3 weeks or so) so you will need to be able to travel  Final Statement: Whilst this role is within a smaller business unit of a larger organisation there is plenty of opportunity for progression within the company and the group.
