Description: Job Purpose:
The ideal candidate will have a background in either a media buying, media owner or research agency environment and must have a strong commercial focus. This person will also have to be able to work under pressure, proactive and be a force for new ways of working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensuring sales team members are provided with all the necessary research they need in order to maximise revenue
Ensuring all our sales presentations and marketing data contain the latest research information and the data used in these materials is used to its best advantage.
Providing regular analysis of the market in order to spot potential advertisers and strong product categories.
Working with sales teams, research agencies and clients in the planning, implementation and presentation of client case studies to demonstrate cinemas effectiveness at meeting objectives
Presenting at internal research meetings, to clients and media agencies.
Answering general research queries using tools such as Nielsen Media Research, IMS, TGI, Touchpoints, coverage and frequency systems
Commissioning and optimising ad hoc qualitative and quantitative research to meet specific business needs and strategic objectives
Lead our admissions re-development project and implement current changes to FAME, Film Monitor and Reach & Frequency (more details on request)
Undertake projects and other ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements: Who we need: Solid experience within research - client side/ media agency / owner or research agency
Excellent project management and priority-setting abilities, especially when managing multiple projects
Outstanding client servicing skills, including a good understanding of corporate and operational business issues
Ability to bring presentations and research to life without solely relying on PowerPoint. Someone who gets under the skin of their audience in order to make findings interesting, innovative and relevant
Pioneering in their outlook and happy to challenge and refine current business practises to improve performance
Energetic, positive, personable and confident. Someone who truly represents the face of DCM and has the ability to use their enthusiasm to engage others both internally and externally.

The key objective of this role is to provide our sales force with market leading research and sales support to enable cinema to be seen as a true challenger in the media market place, alongside the likes of TV, press and outdoor.
