About the role
Publisher Sales Manager will report to the CEO and will become an integral member of the commercial team with responsibility for the development and growth of our client's inventory and publisher relationships in the UK. In addition the Publisher manager will also be instrumental in the strategy and launch of the mobile advertising platform as a white label solution in the UK, providing publishers with the potential to manage their own mobile advertising sales and serving at a premium level. However the primary focus will be on driving publisher and inventory acquisition into the network and working closely with the sales team in order to define, target and deliver required inventory against current and forthcoming campaigns.
Tasks
Working closely with central functions including Product Management, Marketing, Ad operations, and Sales to:
- Engage and drive Publisher, developer and carrier relationships to acquire direct inventory relationships and drive the creation of channel targeting for the advertising network
- Own the inventory development pipe in the UK and manage it for exponential growth
- Represent the business to the key publishers and developers and provide key publisher account management where necessary
- Collate and feedback into the business publisher and developer requirements and thinking, providing a key platform and network Road map indicator for growth
Key Perfomance Indicators
- Direct Publisher and inventory development in the UK
- Direct and face to face engagement with the key publisher market place positioning as the Mobile Advertising network of choice based on unique and market leading targeting technology and service
Requirements
- Experience building inventory and publisher relationships in digital and online sales networks a pre requisite
- The ideal candidate will have relevant professional experience in the advertising or media industries
- Mobile experience and contacts are preferred but not the key to success in role
- An experienced commercial animal with strong contacts and experience in successfully building business in the UK market
- High achiever, energetic vibrant and the ability to own and drive the NBD plan
- Ability to make markets open and close business and provide feedback direction and insight to HQ
- Ability to rise to the challenges related to driving a pioneering business in a cutting edge new media market
- Well networked in the publishing and media markets
- A team player that engages colleagues to continually develop the company
- An open and effective communicator who will proactively discuss issues to resolution; demonstrated ability to solicit, synthesize and accept input from others
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire others
- Proven track record of delivering and business development targets
