The Sales Director will focus on driving revenue, adoption and market penetration in a targeted list of prospects and accounts for the UK primarily to develop and grow on our existing customer base. The role will also support sales effort across other parts of EMEA where there are no current sales personnel in market. There is need for strong experience working with major commerce, ecommerce, and high tech brands. The role will also extend into other vertical categories. The ideal candidate possesses both a technical sales background and a strong marketing and business development acumen that enable them to drive an engagement at the CTO, CMO, and VP of Digital. They should be prepared to develop, be accountable for and execute against a very targeted prospect list to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Accountable for driving business, and meeting or exceeding quota goals and MBO’s

Effectively and independently deliver the company story, value proposition, and product demonstrations.

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and account plan to drive revenue and market share in the defined digital media services

Prepare and manage proposals, quotes, and contracts

Oversee account management for closed accounts to seek additional revenue opportunities

Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer satisfaction

Develop and execute a strategic plan to strategy to build relationships with specific named accounts

Managing all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, negotiation close, account management

5 years minimum of technology (B2B, SaaS preferred) related sales or business development experience with senior leadership and C-level executives across Technology & Marketing

Direct field experience and extensive customer network within mid-size businesses to Enterprise, Fortune 1000 including large multi-divisional/multinational companies.

Experience with ecommerce technologies and content delivery network services, digital rights management (DRM), content management, web analytics, website performance, cloud storage, mobile content delivery or managed web hosting is highly desired

Proven track record of prospecting, managing and close sales, manage accurate pipeline and forecast

Independent, self-disciplined and possess strong verbal and written communications skills

BA/BS degree required, major in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
